1. About this policy

The Mighty Quill is part of Foxtrap Marketing Inc. This policy explains how The Mighty Quill ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information through themightyquill.com, our diagnostic request pages, and related inquiries and services. This policy describes our practices. Visiting a page does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing or give consent to a use that requires separate consent.

2. Information we collect and use

When you contact us or request a diagnostic, we receive the information you submit, such as your name, email, company, website, and message or business context. We use it to respond, assess fit and availability, prepare the requested review, and manage the conversation. We may review your public business website to prepare that review.

Bookings and client work may also involve appointment details, project materials, approvals, correspondence, and relevant service or transaction records. Please do not put passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive information into a diagnostic or contact form.

Our website and its providers also process technical and usage information, such as browser/device details, network information, pages visited, referring pages, timestamps, and interactions. We use this to operate and secure the site, troubleshoot problems, and understand how it is used.

3. Diagnostic requests and email

Our diagnostic form uses Grigora to receive and store submissions. A notification is sent to our monitored email inbox, and Google Apps Script transfers request details to our Google Sheets request tracker. The team uses those records to prepare and respond to the request.

Requesting a diagnostic does not subscribe you to a newsletter or require a sales call. You may ask us to stop optional follow-up by replying or emailing hello@themightyquill.com. We may keep a limited record of that choice to avoid contacting you again. Necessary communications about an existing service or a privacy request may still be sent.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to support the website and our work. These include Grigora for hosting, forms and site analytics; Google for Analytics, Calendar, Apps Script and Sheets; PrivateEmail for our hello inbox; Cloudflare for website delivery and checkout infrastructure; and Feedspace for review displays. When you use a linked Stripe checkout, Stripe processes the information you enter in that checkout.

These services receive information needed for their functions. Embedded reviews, scheduling tools, fonts, and other externally hosted resources may also receive technical information from your browser when they load. Third-party services have their own privacy notices and terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address abuse or security incidents, or to protect legal rights.

5. Cookies, analytics and browser choices

The site uses Google Analytics and Grigora analytics to understand visits and interactions. Google Analytics can use cookies and similar identifiers; site functionality and embedded services may also use cookies or similar technologies.

You can manage cookies in your browser and use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or third-party resources may affect embedded features. The site does not currently change its analytics behavior in response to the browser Do Not Track signal. Third-party providers may process activity across other websites under their own settings and policies. This disclosure does not limit any privacy right that applies to you.

6. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the request, ongoing business relationship, or other purpose described here. We consider whether a conversation or project is active, whether a record is needed for accounting or a legal obligation, and whether an opt-out needs to remain in place. We review working records and remove information that is no longer needed, subject to specific legal or dispute-related exceptions.

Deletion from our working records may not immediately remove restricted backup, trash, or recovery copies held by a provider; those copies follow the provider's retention and recovery processes. You can request deletion without waiting for a routine cleanup.

7. Your requests and security

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@themightyquill.com. You may also ask about our disclosures or request that optional communications stop. We will respond within 30 days and handle requests according to applicable law, including any required shorter deadline or permitted exception. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and protect another person's information.

We use safeguards designed to protect the information we handle, but no website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure.

8. Children and policy changes

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

We will post policy changes here and update the date above. We will provide additional notice or seek consent when required, rather than treating continued browsing as consent to a use that requires it.
